For the last two weeks the weather and water temperatures have been above normal and fishing was slow. However, cooler temperatures and rain have brought some fantastic fishing. Its switch day again at Igloo Lake Lodge. Big welcome to these guest, 6 of these guys have visited multiple times before! Have a fabulous week guys! We are seeing some relief in the temperatures and much need rain is forecasted this week. Conditions are improving for a great week of fishing!

Today we made the trip to Owl Brook to prepare our boat and Labrador Tent for our expedition crew, set to arrive tomorrow and head to Owl Brook for 2 weeks of chasing silver and relaxation.

Yesterday was change over day and we would like to welcome these special guests to Igloo Lake Lodge. Have a wonderful time everyone. We have been experiencing extremely warm weather since early July and water temperature are higher than normal. We have placed some restrictions on fishing and handling of the fish.
