Our DHC-2 Beaver is back in Newfoundland preparing to be put in the hanger for the winter. The Aircraft will receive some TLC to ensure its in top operating condition for next season.

The 2021 season is complete and Igloo Lake Lodge is closed for the long winter ahead. Additional renovations completed this fall with the help of our amazing crew. Thanks to Morley, Pete, Roy, Kevin and Dave. We appreciate all the hard work. We are looking forward to seeing everyone in 2022! Craig & Steve Gillingham

Our construction crew arrived at Igloo on September 16th to continue with renovations and improvements to the Lodge. Today our Pilot Johnny Manual and I are headed to Igloo with a load of needed supplies. Stay tuned for some exciting updates.

Today marks the official last day of the 2021 fishing season. It was also the first snow we have seen this fall. It’s just a few flurries but a signal that winter is not too far away. Guest released some dandy’s today. Gary pictured here with a lovely Brookie.

Wow where has the time gone. Today is switch day and the last group for 2021 has arrived. These guys are no strangers to Igloo Lake Lodge and they are happy to finally get back to The Big Land! Enjoy the week guys!

Guests are reporting some great fishing this week. First time fly fishers Harvey and Dianne have landed some beauties in the stream……congrats guys! The weather may be cooling down but the fishing remains hot!
