Guest Kevin Geroux is known to have landed some Monster Brookies and he did it again this week. His guide Edwin Dominey holds a 9.4 pounder released today at Burtons Pond! What a beast, congrats Kevin. Sorry Edwin, Kevin didn’t get your head in the photo….he was focused on the fish!

Igloo guest Kevin Geroux and Keith Lowell had a great time at Burtons Pond…..Over 25 Monster Brookies released between them. Awesome job guys, and great pictures. Since the implementation of our catch and release policy the Brookies at Burtons pond continue to get bigger and BIGGER ever year!

We would like to send out a big welcome to our next excited group of guests. Have fun everyone…. the Monster Brookies are waiting. Water levels remain high and cold, clarity is fair. The sun is shining today from Otter Creek, but we anticipate some rain in the forecast.

Holy Smokes just look at those Big Brookies released in the stream! Ron, Bob and Russell have released some Dandy so far this week……WTG guys! The Ferguson’s are already planning their return for the 2023 season!

Returning guest Ron Miller had a great day fishing with Head guide Edwin. While fishing at the Honey Hole Ron landed a Monster Brook Trout that Edwin estimates to be in the 8-pound range. Water levels are still high, and clarity is fair. The Lake and stream are producing consistently.

The Fergusons boys are no strangers to Igloo Lake Lodge and are wasting no time in landing and releasing some Dandy Brookies. Guides are reporting some great fishing and success amongst guests. Weather has been a little cooler and looks like a little rain in the forecast.

It’s a beautiful sunny morning and our new group of excited guests have arrived at Otter Creek bound for Igloo Lake Lodge. Reports from the lodge indicate water levels are medium to high and clarity is fair, we anticipate a great week of fishing.
