Everything was great! Fishing was so so…. water was very cloudy, but we still managed to find a few fish at Archie’s. Food was wonderful and staff was second and none. Great trip!

Another great adventure. Each time I visit Igloo it just gets better. The new ownership has made some great improvements. Mike was our guide for this year. He was excellent, entertaining and helpful. He got us into some of the best fishing I have ever had here at Igloo, and that’s when all of Labrador is essentially in a trout drought, thanks to the high temperatures all summer. We had some not so good days on the river but made up for it with a 61 fish day at Burton’s. Food was outstanding, staff was also excellent. Great job to everyone.

This was my second time here in two years. Last time the lake and the water were green, but we still caught fish in the river. The lake did not produce, and Burton’s was dry.

This year, Igloo Lake and River was very cloudy again, but Burton’s was off the charts and truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. We set a new record of 100+ fish in a day.

The food was very good last time, but this year it was excellent. Rosie and Yvette make a great team!

Perry and Alvin are great guides and very knowledgeable. Do apologize to Alvin for making him net 100+ fish. Poor guy took 20 minutes to eat a sandwich. Derek is everywhere his eyes don’t miss a thing-great staff.

As usual, the service was great. Mike was extremely helpful and great company. The food was outstanding and staff very accommodating. Fishing was tough on the river, but the honey hole made up for it. Don’t know what to say about Burton‘s 63 fish boated the first trip and 23 the second. I have been here a few times, and I have never experienced anything like we had at Burton‘s. Craig, the Lodge is terrific!
