First time to Igloo Lake and caught the best brookie I ever had 4 pounds plus great place with good guides, good food and good trout. What more could you ask for! 

Incredible weekend for the first timers at IglooLake Lodge! Variable weather conditions but the guides (Alvin and Mike) made it work. Excellent fishing, countless trout, dozens of 4 to 7 pound fish with the highlight of the trip being Taro’s 8 pound monster! All fish released quickly, a testament to the igloo Lake conservation beliefs and the totally incredible fishery and results they produce! Fantastic home cook meals from Roseanne an excellent camaraderie and laughs from the guides.

We had the most enjoyable and relaxing stay at Igloo Lake Lodge. I caught my first Pike ever and a 6 pound brookie. Tina caught two beautiful brookies 6 pounds and 7 pounds!! Our guide was awesome Mike knew the lake very well and was instrumental in our fishing success. All of the guys are fantastic and very knowledgable. Our cook Rosie-what can we say about her. So professional yet so personable and her creations on your plate are world class! Then there’s our pilot Jim Burton, along with being a close friend of ours is so cable in the air and on the water that my wife didn’t have to take a tranquilizer to fly! This is a special place that your family has built Jim. It truly is heaven on earth thank you everyone for such an unforgettable trip!

PS-Bring your spouse it makes a great couples getaway!

Third trip for myself and it was wonderful. Had a great time with my 27-year-old son Andre who experienced his first time fly fishing. He broke a rod on a 15 pound pike and caught many large brookies. Also had the pleasure of bringing along my 15-year-old nephew. He caught lots of large brookies and some pike, One 8 pounds at cabin pool. Best of all my 82-year-old father was here to see his two grandson‘s experience trilling fishing great service and wonderful people. Oh Papa caught the biggest brookie down at the bowl, I guess he is still the legend in our eyes. We will be back next year and will be sure to bring Russell with us! 

Seventh year here and the fishing was fabulous. The service is always exceptional! Catch and release truly does work, the fish are larger every year! Excellent guides as always Lord willing I’ll be back next year. 

Another great trip made some new friends and enjoyed reacquainting with staff. The food was great as always and the fishing was outstanding, especially the stream. Looking forward to returning next summer for my 9th trip. Over the nine years the fish have increased in size. Release does work! 

I have had the great pleasure of meeting fellow Canadians, fisherman and storytellers whie staying for a wonderful week at Igloo Lake. Hope to cross paths with Gord, Brian, Jason and his son Jacob, Leonard, and Woodrow. Did I forget anyone……Oh yes Greg. I’ve been to PEI several times and now know never to go back. Actually, I had a tremendous fun week fishing with Greg knowledgeable, courteous and clean! Thanks to Mr. Osmond and Rosie you made this stay memorable for all of the good things you do…. And I suppose I should thank the pilots for flying straight thank you very much.

Thanks to the Atlantic Bubble we had a fantastic trip back at Igloo Lake. Lots of fish and the brook was amazing, couple of 20+ fish days as well. Thanks, Rosie, for looking after all the children. If you can make it for the “Fredericton Floor Show” it is worth the trip alone. See you next year “Mike” ha-ha.
